Penn High School distributes a student newsletter, Kingsmen Nation, each week that includes information on upcoming events, club meetings and school news and policies.

The enewsletter is distributed to students and parents via the email. Students receive it through their student @phm email accounts; parents receive it to the email addresses on file for their emergency contact information.

German-American Partnership Program

GAPP is a three-week study program in Germany that requires the students to speak German with their German partner/counterpart. American students stay at their German partner’s house, go to school (in the summer), and reciprocate in the fall when the Germans come to the United States. This is an exchange program, not a tour/travel program.
 
Eligibility Requirements: German II & III – sophomores and juniors (will not take Freshmen or Seniors).
 
Sponsor/Coach Name: Elizabeth Dix.
 
Meets When: Approximately once every 3 weeks for about 2 hours. After selection, there are periodic meetings in the fall and then once every 2-3 weeks in the spring until the trip.  
 
 Where:   German Classroom.
 
Membership Limit: 18.
 
Procedure for Joining:   Fill out application in the fall of 10th or 11th grade, take German, be a good student/citizen, and cross your fingers.
