Penn Veterans Awareness Club

The aim of the Penn High School Veterans Awareness Club is to promote the awareness of Veterans throughout our school and give thanks to them for their service. 

The purpose of this club is to educate and help students learn about the sacrifices our veterans make and show respect for their service. Our club will make cards, posters, ect. each meeting to bring to our local VA. We could eventually organize events such as bringing in guest speakers, and do volunteer work such as volunteering at a veterans hospital. Overall our club would help students understand and connect with those who have served for our country.

There will be club dues of $5 for seniors if they want a chord for the 2024-2025 school year.

Regularly scheduled meetings will be held the first Thursday of every month.
