Architecture Club

The aim of the Penn High School Architecture Club is:

• Create community between students in architecture classes and those with interests in architecture 
• Establish connections between students within the architecture program to allow for mentorship and tutoring to younger students
• Extend architecture outside of class curriculum. This may include field trips, invited speakers, and friendly design competitions.
• Present career opportunities, research, and readiness to students in the group.
• Collaborate with class, pathways, and curricula that may be related to architecture: such as building trades or interior design, to encourage a cross-curricular community of learning and creating. 

The purpose of the Club:  As a club, our central purpose is to promote architecture as a field to students at Penn, without the pressures of it being a class to take. By allowing such an environment, students are able to ask questions, meet with others, and explore the field, in a way that is inviting and less intimidating.  Architecture Club promotes an environment of learning – which means students are encouraged to make mistakes and we celebrate those who are brave enough to try. We also recognize that trying new things sometimes starts with just showing up. 

There are no dues for this club.

Meetings are held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursdays in Room 144.
