Penn High Schools students cook up a winner at Michiana Chili Cook-Off
Posted on October 6, 2026Congrats to Penn Instructor John Fitch and his Culinary Arts students for an incredible showing at the Michiana Chili Cook-off on Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Ironworks Plaza in Mishawaka.
Chef Fitch’s students earned 1st Place – People’s Choice, Most Unique Recipe (2nd year in a row), and Best Overall Student-made chili.
Penn keeps control of the traveling trophy for the next year.
