Penn hosts 2026 Carnival of Bands on Saturday, Sept. 26

Penn High School’s Carnival of Bands will feature 14 of the top marching bands in northern Indiana on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Everwise Freed Field.

A schedule of band performances is posted below.

The showcase event will start at 4:25 p.m. with the National Anthem.

Admission is $10. Children age six-and-younger are free. All sales will be made at the gate, either cash or card.

Penn High School’s Marching Kingsmen conclude the event with an exhibition performance at 8:45 p.m.

DJ Landoll serves as the Band Director, with Sabin Martinez and Aaron Griesser the assistant directors.

The Penn Marching Kingsmen have placed in the Indiana State Finals Contest 21 times and have been a Bands of America Regional Finalist five times.

The band has also performed in the Orange Bowl Parade, the Fiesta Bowl Parade, the Hollywood Christmas Parade, the Tournament of Roses Parade, and the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Parking:

  • Parking is available for free at Schmucker Middle School, which is directly across the road from Penn High School
