Nearly 80 clubs were represented at Penn High School’s annual Walk Around on Saturday, Aug. 15. Our students came ready to showcase their clubs, activities, talents, and all the incredible opportunities available to get involved at Penn.

Our Freshman Mentors did a fabulous job welcoming our incoming freshmen, helping them navigate their new schedules, find their way around the building, answer questions, and—most importantly—help them feel comfortable and confident about starting high school.

We had an incredible turnout, and the energy throughout Penn was contagious! The halls were buzzing with students reconnecting, meeting new friends, exploring ways to get involved, and getting excited for the year ahead.

There’s something special about seeing our building filled with students again, and today was the perfect reminder that the best part of Penn is the people who make it Penn.

We’re ready to welcome everyone back on Wednesday and officially get the 2026–2027 school year started!

The ingredients are ready, the Kingsmen are ready, and now it’s time to mix it all together.
