Penn Pickleball Club

Sponsor: Matt Rollins

The aim of the Penn High School Pickleball Club is to share the fun of pickleball with the Penn community through competitive and recreational play. The club also models sportsmanship, generosity, camaraderie, and respect for all. Our purpose is to grow the sport of pickleball in our community and to develop skill sets.

Goals include:

  • Promoting inclusivity: create a welcoming environment for players of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
  • Encouraging sportsmanship: prioritize sportsmanship over the outcome of games against fellow club members
  • Building community: Pickleball clubs can use the game as a way to meet people and create a healthy community within Penn High School

All club members must sign up on Register My Athlete (now called Aktivate) https://www.registermyathlete.com/

Club Rules

  1. Clothing: Penn Pickleball requires tops and covered footwear, no sandals. Certain clothing items, such as swimsuits, jeans, cut-off jeans, and see-through clothing are also prohibited.

    1. Violation of court etiquette rules will result in discipline in the following order:
      1. A verbal warning
      2. A call home to parents
      3. Removal from the club
  3. All players must check in with club leaders for attendance before playing.
  4. Please limit food and beverage to the side lines of the courts.
