Orchestra demonstration concerts scheduled

Penn High School will host two free demonstration concerts back-to-back on Tuesday, March 8. 

 

Both events will be held in the studio theater.

 

At 7 p.m., there will be a String Orchestra Demonstration Concert.

 

At 8 p.m., there will be a Concert Orchestra Demonstration Concert.

 

According to Penn High School Orchestra instructor Lavon Oke, the premise behind the 'demonstration' concert is that it is a bit less formal. It is an opportunity for the audience to ask questions and discuss the classroom experience and about what can be happening at home to augment the progress students are achieving.
