Welcome to Penn High School!

Located in Mishawaka, Indiana, Penn serves students in grades 9-12 as part of Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation (P-H-M). We are northern Indiana’s premier high school, ranked #1 in the South Bend area and among the Top 7% of high schools statewide, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best High Schools rankings, released in October.

How to Enroll at Penn High School

Step 1: Verify Residency

Penn High School serves students in grades 9–12 who live within Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation boundaries.

Step 2: Gather Your Enrollment Documents

Families enrolling a new student at Penn High School should prepare the following documents:

  • Birth Certificate: Your student’s original birth certificate.
  • Proof of Residency: Two documents verifying your home address, such as a mortgage or lease statement and a utility bill.
  • Immunization Records: Documentation of required immunizations.
  • Custody or Legal Documents: Any applicable court orders or guardianship documents.
  • Previous School Information: Contact information for your student’s previous school.

Students transferring from another high school are also encouraged to have a recent report card or unofficial transcript available, if possible.
