Summer 2019 Penn PE Lottery

Summer Physical Education classes for current 8^th graders at Penn High School will use a lottery system for this coming summer’s classes.

Summer PE is both sessions – Approximate dates for 2019 are June 10-28 and July 8-26. Students must attend all days of both sessions.

Please see below for the timeline:

• The sign-up window is not yet open.  This will be during the latter part of January.
• Early Feb. e-mail notifications of the lottery results will be sent to families. Official  summer school registration form with instructions will be sent via e-mail to those selected for Summer PE. Those not selected will be placed on a waiting list in the order they were selected in the lottery.
• The deadline for Summer School registration has yet to be announced.  If chosen in the lottery, you will receive the Google Form and instructions in the selection notification e-mail.

Students selected for Summer PE need to notify their middle school counselor to indicate if they are taking Summer PE, and to submit a request to take a new elective and choose a new alternate course.
