Class Reunions

 

Class of 1976

Note change in date – reunion has been moved from October to July 2016

Members of the Penn High School Class of 1976 are finalizing plans for their upcom­ing 40-year reunion scheduled for 2016. Plans call for an event on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30, 2016. An informal get-together will take place at Between the Buns in Osceola on Friday night, July 29. The garden area of the restaurant has been reserved for the Class of 1976 starting at 6:30 p.m. and will be available until midnight.

 

The main event will take place on Satur­day, July 30 at the same location we held our 35-year reunion. Those who attended the 35-year reunion enjoyed The Lodge at Lakeville so much that we are having an “encore presen­tation” in 2016. Saturday’s casual get-together begins at 4 p.m. starting with a catered BBQ dinner. As evening falls we will have a bonfire complete with S’mores. Those attending in 2011 had such a great time that we hope more show up for the 40-year!

 

Classmates are encouraged to vis­it the Class of 76’s Facebook page, which will have all of the most up-to-date information on events being planned for the upcoming reunion. Address chang­es or information on missing classmates can also be shared through the Facebook page.

Class of 1996

Penn High School Class of 1996’s 20th Reunion will be held on July 16, 2016, at the FOP #91 in Mishawaka. The Class will be send­ing invites and ticket purchasing informa­tion to classmates in January. Contact Liz if you already haven’t with your contact information or email randolphliz659@gmail.com

 

Award Ceremonies

 

The Alumni Association took a step back from award ceremonies during the 2014-15 school year, but the tradition will resume in 2016!  You are encouraged to nominate outstanding alumni, athletes, and staff for these honors!

  • DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD  Please consider nominating a classmate who has made a significant contribution in his/her profession and/or in the community.  Nominations are currently being accepted until February 29, 2016.  The Alumni Association also will honor a P-H-M staff member (current or retired).  Here is the Distinguished Alumni Nomination Form. 

  • DALE O’CONNELL MEMORIAL ATHLETIC AWARD  Penn High School has been the home school of many outstanding student-athletes, as well as coaches, trainers and sports personnel.  Use the Dale O’Connell Memorial Athletic Award Form  to nominate individuals who are deserving of this special recognition!
