Preparation is well underway for what promises to be a very special concert, “Songs of the Season” presented by the Penn Choirs. The five choirs totaling over 300 voices will combine in the traditional candlelight processional along with individual choirs performing seasonal favorites.
The concerts will be presented on Thursday and Friday, December 10 and 11, at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, December 13, at 3:00 p.m. in the Penn High School Center for the Performing Arts.
You, as parents of a choir student, are invited to purchase reserved seat tickets before we open our sales to the public. This “early bird” sale for parents and family will be on Monday, November 30, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Penn High School, door “C.” Each choir parent family may purchase up to 8 tickets at the pre-sale. Choir Booster patrons may also pick up patronage tickets during this sale. Entrance door “C” will open at 5:45 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public in the north cafeteria hallway from 11:30 to 1:40 p.m. beginning Tuesday, December 1. All tickets are $6.00. Advance purchase of tickets gives you the best choice of seat location.
During the Monday “early bird” sale parents are requested to sign the concert volunteer chart. Parents not attending the ticket presale should contact Lisa Gerber, Choir Booster Volunteer Coordinator, of your volunteer assignment preference. lkgerber@comcast.net
